WordFinder Software offers our customers a solution for Windows, Mac, Pocket PC and for the installation of the software on an intranet server (WordFinder Online).

The new WordFinder 9 Professional has been launched. Now even easier to use and more efficient through a range of new user features including:

• Highly improved search capabilities when searching for inflected words and irregular verbs.
• Easier to create user dictionaries.
• Easier to carry out searches in more than one dictionary at a time.
• Glossary test: Learn new words or challenge your friends and yourself using the program’s glossary test.
• Copy selected content from headword window.
• Browse among translations using a scroll mouse.

How to Buy
This product can be purchased either as a 'Postal delivery' or 'Online delivery'.

Postal delivery: Selected software is delivered on a CD by post. The normal delivery time is 2-3 working days, please call +44 (0) 1562 74 66 32 to order, or download the order form.

Online purchase and delivery: Payment is via credit card and the software is downloaded and installed from the Wordfinder online web shop. Once you have approved the purchase, you will receive an email with order confirmation. When WordFinder Software has approved your credit card payment, you will receive an email with a time-limited link to a web page from where you can download the program you have bought. This email is sent on weekdays during office hours within three hours of your order being registered. Any orders placed after 3.00 pm weekdays, as well as at weekends and other holidays, will receive the login email the following weekday.

WordFinder Support
The WordFinder development team gives top priority to creating easy-to-use, flexible and secure software. However you may still require backup from WordFinder.

The WordFinder support section of their web site includes a range of helpful information, tips and trouble-shooters to help you make the most of the software included in WordFinder Language Solution. You can also download bug fixes and new releases of WordFinder software from there.

If you cannot find a solution in the WordFinder support section, you are always welcome to contact Support by either phoning +46 470-70 00 00 or emailing support@wordfinder.com. Maintenance agreement customers have free support. Other customers have free installation support. All other support enquiries are subject to a fee for every commenced quarter of an hour.

• I'm interested in several of the dictionaries. Can I buy several dictionaries at the same time, along with the software? How are they combined?
You can buy as many dictionaries as you like at the same time or you can complement your WordFinder if you feel that you need more dictionaries later on. What you do need is the software; WordFinder 9 Professional and it contains all our dictionaries and you get a license code for those that you buy.

• Is WordFinder compatible with Microsoft Vista?
WordFinder 9 Professional is compatible with Windows Vista.

• Is WordFinder compatibility with WordFast?
WordFinder support say that they have not heard anything about WordFinder and WordFast not being compatible. But when you work in "secured" documents/segments WordFinder will not work.

• I like having discs and backup, is it possible to have a CD shipped to me (instead of a download version)?
Yes, although there is an additional postage cost which is not charged for downloads.

• Do WordFinder dictionaries work well for American English?
Most of our WordFinder dictionaries have a British translation although some dictionaries, for example Norstedts Sw-En, have both British English and American English translation and pronunciation.
