Adobe FrameMaker and InDesign
Amicus TransTec can provide limited services for our customers who buy FrameMaker or InDesign and may require processing of files whilst they 'get up to speed' with their new software. This service can also offer 'talk through tutorials' that show the customer how the file was processed helping to build in-house expertise.

PIM TM
PIM (Product Information Management see pim.emea.europa.eu/) is a system introduced by the EMEA (European Medicines Agency www.emea.eu.int/)as a means of:
* increasing the efficiency of the management and exchange of product information (Summary of Product Characteristics, package leaflet and labeling) by all parties involved in the evaluation process through the structuring of the information and its exchange by electronic means; and
* improving the quality and consistency of the published product information.
Using the PIM XML format in the translation process is complicated by a number of factors, most sources predict that eventually all submissions with be in PIM. As such any company involved in translation of EMEA submissions will need to be aware of the most effective way of processing PIM XML.
